Today, Congressman Cunningham praised the House passage of H.R. 1, the For the People Act. Cunningham was a co-sponsor of H.R. 1, once-in-a-generation anti-corruption legislation that protects and expands the right to vote, ends the dominance of big money in politics and partisan gerrymandering, and restores ethics and accountability in the federal government by ensuring public servants put public interest above special interest. \nI made a promise to the Lowcountry that I would fight for fair access to the voting booth in Congress.
