The bill reauthorizes the program at the last enacted appropriated level of $93,887,000 for fiscal years 2024-2028.\n\nThe SUPPORT Act (Substance Use-Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities Act) addresses America\u2019s opioid crisis. It was initially passed in 2018.\n\n\"The escalating fentanyl crisis and rising violence in the United States have far-reaching consequences, extending beyond just adults,\" emphasized De La Cruz. \"These challenges are also taking a toll on our nation's children, subjecting them to immediate trauma and potentially leaving lasting scars.
