Deluzio", "D000530", "deluzio.house.gov", "deluzio", "https://deluzio.house.gov/media/press-releases", "scraper", "CARNEGIE, PA \u2013 Today, Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) released his 2025 End of Year Report, detailing many of his actions and accomplishments this year and overviewing his focus areas for 2026.\n\nSome of the highlights from the report include:\n\nHelped bring Marc Fogel home after more than three years of wrongful imprisonment in Russia\n\nSecured the most federal funding for district of any U.S. House Democrat in the Appropriations Committee-passed spending bills\n\nCongressman Deluzio's bill renaming the Sewickley Post Office in honor of local historian and author Bettie Cole unanimously passed the U.S. House of Representatives\n\nRep. Deluzio successfully fought back against the closure of Navy Reserve Centers in Moon Township and across the country\n\nPennsylvania\u2019s 17th Congressional District received $923 million in federal grantsand contracts in 2025\n\nSince taking office in 2023, Congressman Deluzio and his office have:\n\nReturned $10.3 million back to Western Pennsylvanians through things like helping get delayed tax refunds and earned benefits\n\nSeen more than $4.6 billion in federal funding come home to PA\u2019s 17th Congressional District\n\nClosed more than 3,200 constituent cases, helping people with problems with federal agencies\n\nIntroduced 40 bills\n\nCo-sponsored 854 bills\n\n\u201cDespite all the progress we\u2019ve made together, there\u2019s a lot of work left to do. With the skyrocketing costs of housing, utilities, health care, and groceries; corruption running rampant and rigging the system; and corporate monopolies putting the squeeze on small businesses and workers, the American Dream has been ripped away,\u201d wrote Congressman Deluzio in his report. \u201cToo many people who work hard and play by the rules are barely treading water, while huge corporations and the ultra-rich do better than ever.
