Reversing Trump\u2019s disastrous decisions would make life more affordable, but we must do so much more so that people\u2019s hard work delivers the good life they have earned in America.\u201d\n\nThe updated data shows that Trump Administration policies have hit Pennsylvanians have harder than other Americans\u2014with people in the Commonwealth paying around $400 more than the average American family since Trump\u2019s inauguration.\n\nOther takeaways from these new reports include:\n\nHOUSING: Pennsylvania families have had to spend an additional $924 on housing costs like rent and mortgage payments since President Trump took office.\n\nENERGY: People across PA\u201017 have spent an additional $124 million on gas since the beginning of the Iran War, costing the average family in PA\u201017 an additional $408 in gas costs.\n\nHEALTHCARE: Monthly ACA premiums rose more than 50 percent on average in 2026 compared to last year.
