The President is sending a clear message to those who mean to do us harm, that America\u2019s priority is providing more money for more failed domestic programs rather than making sure our nation\u2019s uniformed military remain the best trained and best equipped fighting force in the world. When I look a mother or father in the eye and know they have sent their son or daughter into harm\u2019s way, I want to do so knowing we have not shortchanged them for a shortsighted focus that puts their loved ones at increased risk.
