Covering all 22 counties, Davis delivered holiday pies and personal gratitude to the men and women who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe.\n\n\u201cThanksgiving is a time to pause and recognize the everyday heroes who rarely get a day off,\u201d said Congressman Davis. \u201cOur first responders and 911 telecommunicators are the backbone of public safety and healthcare in eastern North Carolina. Their commitment, especially during the holidays, deserves our deepest appreciation.\u201d\n\nThe \u201cPies of Thanks\u201d tour served as a districtwide gesture of gratitude, offering a simple but heartfelt reminder that eastern North Carolinians value the dedication of those who answer the call at all hours.
