Davis", "D000230", "dondavis.house.gov", "dondavis", "https://dondavis.house.gov/media/press-releases", "scraper", "WASHINGTON, D.C. \u2014 Congressman Don Davis (NC-01) announced that Christian Barber has joined his team as Press Secretary and Digital Manager for North Carolina\u2019s First Congressional District.\n\nBarber is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte\u2019s Belk College of Business, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing.\n\nBefore joining the congressional office, Barber served as an AmeriCorps Next Step Advisor with the Carolina College Advising Corps at West Charlotte High School, where he helped students prepare for their next steps after graduation through college enrollment, workforce employment, and military enlistment.\n\nHe previously supported marketing and communications efforts at UNC Charlotte, with a focus on photography, digital content creation, and visual storytelling.\n\nIn his new role, Barber will lead the Congressman\u2019s press and digital communications efforts, helping communicate the office\u2019s work to constituents across eastern North Carolina and ensuring residents remain informed about issues and initiatives affecting their communities.\n\n\u201cChristian brings a strong combination of education, communications experience, and a commitment to serving others,\u201d said Congressman Don Davis. \u201cHis work helping young people prepare for life after high school and his experience in marketing and digital content, will be valuable assets to our team.
