Students of all skill levels are encouraged to participate in the competition, and no previous coding experience is required.\n\nThe App Challenge\u2019s student submission portal is now open. Applications must be submitted by November 1, 2023, at 11:00 AM CT. The CAC accepts computer programs (or apps) written in any programming language (C, C++, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, \u201cblock code,\u201d etc.), for any platform (desktop/PC, web, mobile, etc.). Students may register as individuals or as teams of up to four students.\n\nWinners will be selected by a panel of Computer Science teachers in South Dakota and honored by South Dakota\u2019s Congressional office.
