Today\u2019s announcement that a contract has been awarded means we\u2019re one step closer to realizing our goal of providing world-class healthcare to our servicemembers and veterans here at home, in the Veterans Capital of the U.S.\u201d\n\nAs part of the $1.7 trillion Consolidated Appropriations Act signed into law in 2022, Congresswoman Escobar championed the $700 million in federal funds for the construction of a brand-new VA healthcare center. Current construction estimates project the completion of the facility in late 2029 or early 2030.
