Their artwork reflects not only their talent but also the unique perspectives and stories of our communities. I\u2019m grateful to every student who submitted their work and to the families and educators who help foster that creativity. Investing in the arts is an investment in the next generation, and I look forward to seeing what these talented students accomplish in the future.\u201d\n\nThe 2026 Congressional Art Competition winners are:\n\n1st Place: Zoey Margrave, Petal High School\n\n2nd Place: Alicia Chavez, Petal High School\n\n3rd Place: Kendyll King, Ocean Springs High School\n\nBackground:\n\nEach spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school art competition to recognize the artistic talents of the nation\u2019s youth.
