Her artwork, titled \"Meruem,\" was selected by a panel of local judges who evaluated submissions based on creativity, originality, and technical skill. Adelina\u2019s piece captures a small sitting area in a local Grand Forks coffee shop called Urban Stampede\u2014one of North Dakota's oldest coffee shops.\n\n\u201cAdelina's beautiful work captures a unique piece of North Dakota, a scene from one of our iconic coffee shops where people gather to visit,\u201d Fedorchak said. \u201cShe's a charming young woman with a bright future and I'm proud to have her work displayed here.\u201d\n\nImage\n\nAdelina joined Fedorchak in Washington, D.C., where she received a tour from the office and attended the 2025 Congressional Art Competition Reception honoring winners from all 50 states and U.S. territories.\n\nImage\n\nThe Congressional Art Competition is an annual nationwide visual art contest that provides high school students the opportunity to showcase their artistic abilities.
