Barbara:\n\n\u201cThe Constitution won today. For over 150 years, the 14th Amendment has guaranteed that every child born on American soil is an American citizen with no exceptions. The Supreme Court was right to reject this administration\u2019s attempt to rewrite that guarantee by executive order.\n\nThis was never just a legal question. It was about whether a child born in Baton Rouge or Lafayette or anywhere else in our country has to wonder if their citizenship is secure.
