Congress has an opportunity to support young people who are looking to their futures and want to serve their communities,\" said Congresswoman Fischbach. \"Unlike broad-stroke student loan forgiveness programs, the Law Enforcement Education Grant Program Act provides a targeted approach to specifically invest in well-trained and highly educated police officers at a time when our country desperately needs it. I am proud to introduce this legislation to encourage young people to join the next generation of law enforcement.\"\n\nThe Congresswoman thanks Reps.
