If the students are accepted, upon their graduation at the academy, the cadets will earn a Bachelor of Science degree and become a commissioned officer in the U.S. military. The students would also serve a minimum of five years active-duty service.\n\n\u201cIt is my honor to once again nominate extraordinary students from Minnesota\u2019s Seventh Congressional District to the United State Service Academies,\u201d said Rep. Fischbach (MN-07). \u201cI am encouraged to see passionate young men and women who desire to serve our country.
