The report highlights some of Congresswoman Fletcher\u2019s work on legislation, events in the district, and constituent matters in 2024.\n\n\u201cI am honored and proud to represent Texas\u2019 Seventh Congressional District, and to bring the voices of those who live and work here to the national conversation about the challenges and opportunities before us,\u201d said Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher. \u201cI am glad to share some of the highlights of this work in my 2024 Annual Report, and I look forward to continuing my work for our community and our country in the year ahead.\u201d\n\nHighlights of the 2024 Annual Report include:\n\nLegislation: Congresswoman Fletcher has introduced several bills in the House of Representatives this year, including:\n\nthe Pink Tariffs Study Act, H.R. 7927, to require the U.S. Department of Treasury to conduct a study on potential gender bias within the U.S. tariff system;\n\nthe Heirs Empowerment and Inheritance Rights (HEIR) Act, H.R. 8117, to allow heirs\u2019 property owners to use alternate forms of documentation to prove property ownership to receive disaster aid; and\n\nthe LNG Coordination Act of 2024, H.R.7556, to establish a working group to improve the safety of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facilities and to make federal oversight of LNG facilities more efficient.\n\nConstituent Advocacy: This year, Congresswoman Fletcher\u2019s office resolved more than 2,000 constituent matters before federal agencies, and reached the milestone of resolving more than 15,000 constituent matters since she assumed office in 2019.\n\nCommunity Funded Projects: The Community Funded Projects process in Congress allows members of Congress to request funding for specific projects in their districts through a transparent process. Congresswoman Fletcher secured nearly $16 million in project funds this year.
