Our program is an opportunity to contribute to the work of our office, engage directly with Nebraskans, and gain firsthand experience in public service. I encourage you and anyone you know to apply to my Washington, D.C. Office\u2019s spring 2027 internship program to see Congress at work.\u201d\n\nCongressional interns in the Office of Congressman Flood will have the opportunity to work alongside each team within the office. The internship curriculum is designed to provide interns with a well-rounded understanding of how a congressional office operates, including constituent services, communications, legislative efforts, office operations, and committee work.\n\nAdditionally, interns will have the opportunity to attend policy briefings, unique tours, congressional hearings, guest speaker events, networking opportunities, and other activities on Capitol Hill.\n\nThe deadline to apply for the spring internship is October 2, 2026.
