The delegation was led by U.S. Congressman Andy Biggs of Arizona and included several Members of Congress.\n\n\u201cJoe Biden\u2019s catch and release immigration policy has dramatically escalated the humanitarian crisis on our southern border,\u201d said Congressman Flood. \u201cFrom human trafficking to fentanyl smuggling, there is a real human cost to the Biden Administration\u2019s failure to enforce our nation\u2019s laws and secure our border. I will continue to work with my colleagues to push back on these failed policies so that we can protect our communities and keep America safe.\u201d\n\nIn Arizona, Congressman Flood received briefings from the U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP), visited the unfinished border wall, and heard directly from landowners and community members whose way of life has been impacted by illegal immigration.\n\nOver the course of the last year and a half, the Biden Administration has curtailed construction of the border wall as illegal border crossings have surged.
