The IMPACT Act will strengthen the competitiveness of American manufacturing by developing technologies to decarbonize and improve the efficiency of cement, concrete, and asphalt production.\n\n\u201cAs the climate crisis continues to affect all corners of our society, we must make meaningful strides to reduce harmful greenhouse gas emissions across all sectors,\u201d said Congresswoman Valerie Foushee (NC-04). \u201cThe IMPACT Act is a forward-thinking bill that will enhance the competitiveness of American manufacturing and R&D, and help create good-paying American jobs, while ensuring measurable GHG emissions reductions and modernizing the manufacturing process of building materials that are critical to our nation\u2019s infrastructure.
