Frankel. \u201cDespite the Supreme Court\u2019s decision to allow evictions to proceed, the good news is that help is available for those who are struggling through federal money provided to Palm Beach County.\u201d\n\nPalm Beach County has been dispersing rental assistance since December and has helped over 5,700 families stay in their homes while paying landlords their rent through the county\u2019s rental assistance portal. The portal remains open and additional assistance is available for residents who meet eligibility requirements. Applicants can also call 561-355-4792. The State of Florida has also opened a separate rental assistance portal, which can be accessed here.\n\nThe county is also offering mortgage assistance to eligible persons. That application portal is open now until September 7th.
