This legislation goes far beyond contraception, utilizing a definition of “contraceptive” so broad that it includes a right to chemical abortion drugs that can be used weeks or months into a pregnancy. Furthermore, the legislation completely disregards the freedom of conscience of health care providers, explicitly exempting itself from protections afforded to providers by the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. I oppose this poorly drafted bill and will vote NO.”

###", 1, "2026-03-30T01:40:41Z", "2026-04-08T02:49:02Z
url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at
url
https://fulcher.house.gov/2022/07/21/id-49e3337a-705b-4703-9852-33f11fd02b86/
