The U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) does not require a congressional nomination for appointment.\n\nThe U.S. Service Academies have a long tradition of excellence in training the next generation of our nation\u2019s fearless leaders. These nominees have proven their willingness to lead and inspire those around them.\n\n\u201cIt is an honor to nominate these students to the four U.S. Service Academies,\u201d Congressman Fulcher said. \u201cI am truly inspired by the dedication of these individuals as they have excelled in not only academics but leadership in their community.
