She toured the Warrior Battalion facility on the University of Hawaii at Mnoa campus, spoke with the cadets about her service in the Hawaii Army National Guard and in Congress, servant-leadership, and the Army Values, and answered a series of questions from the soon-to-be graduates and Army officers.\nB-Roll Video Footage is Available Here for Download\nClick the images below to download photos from Rep. Tulsi Gabbard's Warrior Battalion ROTC visit at UH Manoa.\n  Background\nThe Warrior Battalion is the only ROTC unit to ever be called to federal serviceon December 7, 1941 cadets were made part of the Hawaii Territorial Guard and assisted in guarding vital facilities on the island of Oahu, serving for a seven-week period. There are currently 132 Army cadets in the program, and eighteen of them are combat veterans.
