Thank you to the Maine State Chamber and the Oxford Hills Chamber for having me and to all the local business owners who took the time to share their experiences with me.\u201d\n\nGolden was hosted by Dana Connors, the President of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce, and John Williams, the Chief Executive Officer of the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce and owner of Williams Broadcasting Inc. Among those who participated in the roundtable with Golden were representatives of local banking and lending institutions, hospitality industry members, and radio broadcasters.\n\nFollowing the roundtable, Golden joined Connors for an episode of the Maine Chamber\u2019s podcast, The Maine Take.\n\nAs a member of the House Small Business Committee Golden has been a champion of small business owners and entrepreneurs. Last fall, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce awarded Golden the Advocate for American Business award for his bipartisan work on behalf of Maine small businesses. During the 117th Congress, Golden chaired the Underserved, Agricultural, and Rural Business Development Subcommittee, and he used that role to consistently advocate for resources and support for small businesses.
