Earlier this morning Congressman Goldman was joined by constituents of former Congressman George Santos, the Concerned Citizens of NY-03 to advocate for Santos\u2019 expulsion. Congressman Goldman submitted the original complaint to the Ethics Committee that resulted in the damning 56-page report from the Committee that preceded today\u2019s vote.\n\n\u201cFor 11 months, House Republicans wrapped their arms around an admitted fraudster, liar, and thief. For the sole reason of protecting their narrow majority, Republican leadership abandoned the people of New York\u2019s Third Congressional District, leaving them without real representation in Congress.\n\n\u201cEven today, in the face of mountains of evidence proving George Santos\u2019 gross misconduct, deceptions and outright fraud, Republican leadership, including New York Representative Elise Stefanik, and more than half of House Republicans voted to keep George Santos in Congress.\n\n\u201cDespite their best efforts, the Congress of the United States won today.
