Organizations under the umbrella of the United Nations are using taxpayer dollars to facilitate this illegal migration by providing support to the caravans throughout their journey. This support includes free legal advice and even cash assistance.\n\nRep. Gooden\u2019s legislation would prohibit contributions to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), and the International Organization for Migration (IOM). This prevents taxpayer funds from being used to facilitate mass migration into the United States.\n\nCongressman Gooden said, \u201cU.S. taxpayers should not be subsidizing a mass invasion of our country by an endless stream of unknown and unvetted migrants. It is time for the Biden Administration to put an end to this crisis and regain control of our southern border.\u201d\n\nPreston Huennekens, Government Relations Manager of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) said, \u201cThe United Nations has long abused the sovereignty of independent nations, particularly the United States, through their migration organizations.
