(AZ-04) issued the following statement after introducing the Criminal Alien Removal Clarification Act, legislation that would ensure non-citizens, convicted of a felony or two or more misdemeanors, can be removed from the United States.\n\n\u201cThis common-sense legislation would make any alien who has committed a felony or two misdemeanors deportable. Current law only includes certain felonies and some crimes.\n\nToday, more than ever, we must do everything possible to close loopholes in laws that allow criminal activity to occur without consequences. My legislation gives codified guidance to the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security to remove non-citizens who break our laws,\u201d Gosar said.\n\n\u201cThe Biden administration\u2019s open-borders policy is inviting violent criminals into the U.S. I\u2019m grateful that Congressman Gosar is introducing the Criminal Alien Removal Clarification Act in the House to help deport dangerous criminals who are putting American communities at risk every day,\u201d stated Senator John Kennedy.\n\n\"NumbersUSA is pleased to support Congressman Gosar\u2019s Criminal Alien Removal Clarification Act.
