Missourians have raised concerns that the reporting requirements proposed under President Biden\u2019s \u201cBuild Back Better Plan\u201d would violate their privacy and questioned the ability of the IRS to protect private banking information given the agency\u2019s poor track record.\n\n\u201cThis IRS surveillance scheme would scoop up virtually every American\u2019s private banking information,\u201d said Graves. \u201cThat isn\u2019t by mistake, it\u2019s by design. This isn\u2019t about catching wealthy tax cheats, it\u2019s about collecting massive troves of financial information on every American family.
