These are the same people that aided, abetted, and harbored the Al-Qaeda terrorists responsible for the September 11th attacks. Now, they\u2019ve released thousands of terrorists held at Bagram Air Base\u2014including senior Al Qaeda operatives. I have grave concerns that this Administration\u2019s failure to learn from history will doom us all to relive it. The President must immediately lay out a clear, concise, and effective strategy to ensure that Afghanistan does not once again become a training ground and safe haven for terrorists.
