I had the privilege of serving alongside him and saw firsthand his commitment to doing what was right for the people of Wisconsin. His deep understanding of the issues, ability to build consensus, and unwavering commitment to public service earned him the respect of both his colleagues and constituents.\u201d\n\n\u201cDavid\u2019s legacy extends beyond the legislature to his time on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, where he brought the same thoughtfulness and dedication to his role as a justice. His years on the bench were marked by his keen intellect, fairness, and respect for the rule of law. To this day when talking to House leadership about how to handle legislation, I use David Prosser as an example.\n\n\u201cWisconsin has lost a true leader, and I have lost a friend.
