Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11), which would prohibit the use of civil immigration warrants as identification to pass Transportation Security Administration (TSA) screening checkpoints at airports.\n\nFollowing the introduction of the legislation, Congressman Guest released the following statement:\n\n\u201cThis swift action of putting together this bill and introducing it in Congress shows the commitment of Republicans in cleaning up the open-border policies of the Biden Administration. Individuals with deportation or arrest warrants should be arrested at TSA checkpoints, not allowed to travel across the country. With this bill, Members of Congress are working to reinstate common sense in our immigration system.\u201d\n\nNews that the TSA was accepting warrants as identification was first reported by the Daily Caller last week.\n\nAfter learning of the policy, Congressman Guest, who also serves as Vice Ranking Member on the Committee on Homeland Security, called it \u201ca complete failure in policy\u201d and said that it \u201cshould trouble all Americans\u201d in a tweet.\n\nCongressman Michael Guest represents Mississippi's Third Congressional District.
