This Military Academy Day will provide an opportunity to learn about the nomination and appointment process, as well as the unique opportunities each of the academies offer, from the perspective of cadets, midshipmen, admissions officers, liaison officers, and alumni.\n\nCongressmen and Senators are looking for individuals who excel in these fields: academics, community service, athletics, and physical aptitude. Young men and women are nominated to military service academies based on these fields and the academies evaluate and select for appointment.\n\nCongressman Michael Guest represents Mississippi's Third Congressional District.
