In response, Congresswoman Moore released the following statement:\r\nEvery President takes a sacred oath to protect the country and the interests of the American people. As a Member of Congress, I took a similar oathto support and defend the Constitution.When Trump solicited a foreign government to investigate a political rival for personal and political gain, he violated his oath. The Founding Fathers included mechanisms for presidents who abuse their power.Impeachment is that mechanism.
