It has saved lives! Building on its success, enhanced premium subsidies helped a record 24 million Americans access care. Now many of these Americans, including my constituents, are weeks away from facing soaring premium costs.\n\nAfter cutting Medicaid/BadgerCare to fund tax breaks for billionaires, today\u2019s legislation would continue the Republican assault on access to affordable health care. It would take away health care for low-income Americans and ignore the looming rise in premiums.\n\nWe can\u2019t wait another 15 years for Republicans to propose a health care plan that primarily serves the wealthy. Time is up, and Congress must act now.
