Even if only for 45 days, this is far more spending than I can support. Yesterday, the House had the opportunity to pass a shorter-term bill that would have secured our borders while reducing government spending. That was the bill the House should have passed and that was the bill I supported.\n\nWe are $33 trillion in debt, and we have over 11,000 illegals crossing our border each day. I look forward to continuing the appropriations process to rein in this bloated government.\u201d\n\n###", 1, "2026-03-30T01:40:41Z", "2026-04-08T00:37:48Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://hageman.house.gov/media/press-releases/statement-passage-continuing-resolution"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.9809108451008797, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
