The Continuing Appropriations Act (H.R. 5860) passed by a vote of 335-91, funding the government through November 17, 2023.\n\nThe legislation provides $16 billion in supplemental funding for disaster relief, extends vital healthcare and welfare programs, and includes extensions for National Flood Insurance Protection and the Federal Aviation Administration.\n\n\"This short-term extension is necessary to keep vital government programs in operation, ensuring the American people are not lacking healthcare or the assistance they need, as a result of disagreements on Capitol Hill,\" said Congressman Rogers, Dean of the House. \"I applaud Speaker McCarthy for bringing this clean bill to a vote, and renewing faith in House government.
