These grants are allocated under the following four statutory formulas: basic grants, concentration grants, targeted grants, and education finance incentive grants. The counties and grant fund amounts are as follows:\n\nBaltimore County Public Schools: $29,038,881\n\nCarroll County Public Schools: $2,152,303\n\nCecil County Public Schools: $3,560,056\n\nDorchester County Public Schools: $2,369,035\n\nHarford County Public Schools: $6,002,823\n\nKent County Public Schools: $757,544\n\nQueen Anne's County Public Schools: $932,846\n\nSomerset County Public Schools: $1,953,323\n\nTalbot County Public Schools: $1,098,215\n\nWicomico County Public Schools: $6,297,707\n\nWorcester County Public Schools: $1,879,760\n\nRep. Harris made the following statement:\n\n\"These funds will help improve the educational experience of children in Maryland's First District.
