The City of Aberdeen will administer the funding to replace aging and deteriorating water and sewer infrastructure in the Swan Meadows neighborhood.\n\nThe project will replace critical water and sewer lines that are more than 80 years old and increasingly prone to failure. These upgrades are necessary to maintain reliable service, reduce the risk of system breakdowns, and protect public health in one of Aberdeen\u2019s underserved communities.\n\nStatement from Congressman Harris:\n\n\u201cWater and sewer infrastructure in Swan Meadows has far exceeded its intended lifespan, and residents have been dealing with ongoing system failures for years.
