Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA) and Kathy Castor (D-FL).\u00a0 The bipartisan solution was included in the 21st Century Cures legislative plan to improve cures and treatments for chronic conditions and diseases.\r\n\u201cI\u2019m so pleased the U.S. House advanced this important solution that will help mothers obtain safer medication while pregnant and breastfeeding,\u201d said Jaime. \u201cIt\u2019s time we take the risk out of treating chronic conditions for pregnant and nursing moms.\u00a0 I\u2019m optimistic that the Safe Medications for Moms and Babies Act will be approved by the Senate and be signed into law before the year ends.\u201d\r\nReps.
