Doug Lamborn (R-Colo.) urged Obama to veto any U.N. resolution \"that unilaterally recognizes a Palestinian state, dictates steps or parameters to the parties, or issues condemnations against Israel.\" U.S. Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.) said Obama \u201cshould not act in any manner adversarial to Israel during his final weeks in office. There is no greater friend and reliable ally to the United States than Israel.\u201d\u00a0\nThe U.N. has become \"a platform for the world\u2019s anti-Semites to espouse their vile hatred of Jews,\u201d stated U.S. Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.). Franks said that if Obama supports a Palestinian statehood resolution at the U.N., Congress \u201cis prepared to do everything within our Constitutional powers to stop him and reverse the damage.\u201d\nU.S. Reps.
