The NDAA funds the United States\u2019 defense programs and includes significant investments in defense industrial base suppliers and technology companies in Connecticut. This year, it also includes the Intelligence Authorization Act which advances funding and other priorities for the Intelligence Community.\n\n\u201cThe 2025 National Defense Authorization Act strengthens existing defense programs, improves pay and benefits for servicemembers\u2014 including a 14.5% increase for junior enlisted servicemembers\u2014 and ensures that the United States keeps pace with our adversaries in technology and innovation,\u201d said Congressman Himes. \u201cI am proud that Connecticut\u2019s robust defense manufacturing presence remains at the heart of these missions, and that this legislation invests further in our businesses and workforce.\u201d\n\nThe National Defense Authorization Act of 2025 invests billions of dollars in funding for Connecticut companies.
