To avoid another devastating shutdown, Republicans must come to the table to help us pass a long-term spending bill and lift the debt limit, just like we did three times during the Trump administration. Keeping the government funded should not be a partisan issue.\"\n\nH.R. 5305 extends funding for critical government agencies and services, including education, health, housing, and public safety programs. The legislation also includes $28.6 billion to help communities recover from major disasters, including wildfire and severe drought, and $6.3 billion to support vetting, temporary housing, and resettlement for eligible Afghan evacuees.\n\nTo learn more about H.R. 5305, the Extending Government Funding and Delivering Emergency Assistance Act, click here.", 1, "2026-03-30T01:40:41Z", "2026-04-06T20:17:01Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://horsford.house.gov/media/press-releases/congressman-horsford-votes-to-prevent-government-shutdown"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 1.7065373249351978, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
