Like many small businesses across Southern Nevada, My Garage Kitchen was forced to shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through persistence and hard work, Manny was able to reopen and rebuild but is now facing a new wave of financial strain driven by rising costs.\n\n\u201cStories like Manny\u2019s are exactly why I launched this series,\u201d said Rep. Horsford. \u201cHe built his business from the ground up, fought through the pandemic, and did everything right to opener-open his doors. But now, small businesses like his are being hit by rising costs across the supply chain. That\u2019s not right. My RELIEF Act is about making sure small businesses like his get the support they deserve, without delays or red tape.\u201d\n\nThe RELIEF Act would:\n\n\u2022 Require tariff refunds within 90 days of enactment\n\n\u2022 Apply to covered tariffs collected since January 1, 2025\n\n\u2022 Eliminate the need for individual applications or formal protests\n\n\"My RELIEF Act is straightforward: The Supreme Court said tariffs are illegal and the money paid needs to be returned. My bill does that; quickly and without red tape, Rep.
