Hoyer (MD-5) issued the following statement today on the executive order issued by\u00a0President Obama yesterday that officially implements the 1 percent pay increase for civilian and military employees as proposed in the FY 2015 Budget and included in the President\u2019s alternative pay plan released on August 29, 2014:\r\n\r\n\t\u201cThe President's decision to provide a 1 percent pay adjustment in 2015 to members of both the uniformed and civil services is a recognition of the principle of pay parity which I have long championed.
