This year's NDAA authorizes more than $1.15 trillion in spending for the Pentagon.\n\nRep. Hoyle released the following statement about today\u2019s vote:\n\n\"I voted no on the NDAA because the American taxpayers deserve transparency and accountability and this bill offers neither. This bill contains provisions I support that would keep Americans safe and ensures our troops are well supported and fairly paid. However, I will not support the Administration\u2019s plan to spend over $1 trillion on an agency that has failed eight consecutive audits and is fueling an illegal and immoral war.\u201d\n\nBackground:\n\nThe FY2027 NDAA:\n\nRep.
