Over the course of nearly 10 years, Blanchat served in various roles in the office of Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC), including Deputy State Director and Campaign Manager of his 2020 re-election. In addition, he helped manage former North Carolina Senator Richard Burr\u2019s campaign in 2016.\n\nBlanchat is a North Carolina native, and currently resides in Southern Pines with his wife and two children.\n\nFormer Chief of Staff Elliott Guffin now serves as Director of Federal Affairs for Virginia Gov.
