Issa. \"The JUDGES Act will deliver immediate relief, a longer-term solution, and a sustainable plan that will prevent this crisis from happening again.\u201d\n\nThe JUDGES Act will:\n\nCreate 63 permanent judgeships in six phases from 2025-2035\n\nAdd three temporary district court judgeships in Oklahoma\n\nTask GAO with evaluating the efficiency of federal courts and assessing detention space needs\n\nRequire the Judicial Conference to publicly release its judicial seat recommendations and methodology\n\nAuthorize additional federal case locations in Utah, Texas, and California to improve access for larger districts", 1, "2026-03-30T01:40:41Z", "2026-04-07T21:43:57Z"]], "columns": ["url", "title", "date", "year", "month", "party", "chamber", "state", "member_name", "bioguide_id", "domain", "scraper", "source", "date_source", "text", "has_text", "collected_at", "updated_at"], "primary_keys": ["url"], "primary_key_values": ["https://issa.house.gov/media/press-releases/issa-leads-legislation-solve-backlogged-courts"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.8234269917011261, "source": "dwillis/congress-press", "source_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press", "license": "MIT", "license_url": "https://github.com/dwillis/congress-press/blob/main/LICENSE"}
