The legislation will now be sent to the President to be signed into law.\n\nToday, the House and Senate passed omnibus appropriations legislation to fund the federal government for fiscal year 2023. As part of the omnibus appropriations legislation, Rep. Kaptur secured $39 million in federal funding to support 15 community-led projects across Ohio\u2019s 9th Congressional District.\n\n\u201cThrough the collaborative work of Republicans and Democrats, Congress is responsibly delivering critical investments in the services and programs people depend on,\u201d said Rep. Kaptur. \u201cWe\u2019re investing in education, infrastructure, and energy; improving healthcare and housing; expanding care for veterans and pay for servicemembers; and helping create good-paying jobs for hardworking Americans. We\u2019re also serving as a reliable federal partner by securing $39 million for an array of community-led projects that will lower costs, revitalize neighborhoods, equip police officers and first responders with the latest tools, and prepare students and workers for in-demand careers of the future.
