As part of DOT\u2019s plan, Ohio will receive $1.96 billion in the upcoming year from the Federal Highway Administration for improvements to roads, bridges, tunnels, and other surface infrastructure. The State of Ohio will have flexibility in determining how the federal funding will be deployed.\n\n\u201cOur Bipartisan Jobs and Infrastructure Bill is doing exactly as promised \u2013 investing in Ohio\u2019s future,\u201d said Rep. Kaptur. \u201cThese federal investments will create living wage construction jobs, increase safety, and better connect workers and communities to regional job hubs.
