A total of $836,189, made available through the Supportive Services for Veteran Families will be directed towards supporting homeless and at-risk veterans and their families. Additionally, $750,000 from the Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program will be dedicated to veteran suicide prevention efforts.\n\n\u201cOur veterans have sacrificed dearly for our country, and it\u2019s our duty to support them when they need us most,\u201d said Congressman Kennedy. \u201cI am proud to announce over $1.5 million in federal funding for Veterans One-stop Center to meet the housing needs of veterans and their families, and to reduce the number of veterans who take their life after leaving the service.
