Once the user is done with the quiz, the app chooses one of the states the user got wrong and redirects them to a website where they can learn more about that certain state.\n\n\"Congratulations to Abdala, Uthej, and Connor on placing in this year's Congressional App Challenge. Every year, I continue to be impressed by the ingenuity and talent displayed by those West Tennessee students who chose to submit an app,\" said Rep. Kustoff. \"Through your innovation and skill, each of you has the opportunity to positively impact your community. Thank you to everyone who applied to the App Challenge this year, and I hope you continue to showcase your talents in coding.\"\n\nApp Challenge Winners:\n\n1st Place:\n\nAbdala Jabase\n\n\"USA Knowledge\"\n\nHouston High School (12th Grade)\n\n2nd Place:\n\nUthej Katikaneni\n\n\"Survival of the Fittest\"\n\nWest Collierville Middle School (6th Grade)\n\n3rd Place:\n\nConnor Jordan\n\n\"Drop Shot Rally\"\n\nHouston High School (10th Grade)\n\n1st Place Winner, Abdala Jabase from Houston High School\n\nBackground:\n\nThe Congressional App Challenge began in 2014 as an effort to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and to encourage students to learn coding and computer science skills.
